Runner's Retreat is delighted to be opening the Shop again on Monday 15th June.
"The aim is to continue providing the best shopping experience for all runners in the area. The necessity for social distancing will, however, mean some changes to how we operate. We will need to limit the number of customers in the Shop at any one time. We will have one customer at a time at the 'back' of the Shop for our shoe fitting service. Entry to that section will be through the middle of the Shop.
"We can safely have two customers in the 'front' of the Shop and shoes can be tried on here as well. Clothing and accessories will be available at the front as before. Before trying shoes on, however, we will have to insist on the customer and staff member sanitizing their hands. We will also have thin plastic 'socks' available to go over your normal socks.
"All staff members will have face masks available to them. We will ensure that all surfaces are regularly wiped down and sanitized. Clothing is still very much available to buy, though the changing room will not be in use and clothing will have to be tried on at home. If you need to return anything, it will be quarantined in line with guidelines.
"Opening will be on slightly reduced hours to start with. Open on Monday 15th but thereafter closed on Mondays. Tuesdays to Saturday, we'll close at 5pm. Though we will take shoe fitting appointments (booked in advance) at 5.15pm and at 5.40pm on these days. Sunday remains 11-4.
"We'll endeavour to provide you with the safest shopping environment and look forward to welcoming you all back!"
