A Truly Memorable Morning

The Marlow Community turned out in its hundreds to commemorate Remembrance Sunday 2019

What an amazing crowd for this year’s Remembrance Sunday. Helped by some beautiful sunshine, our local community turned out in its hundreds on Sunday 10th November, each looking to to pay their respects to the lost and fallen. And to those who still serve in our name.

It shows that, although gone, the heroes of our past – and indeed, of our recent present – are not forgotten.

Along with many other Marlow Community Groups, newly appointed President, Lesley James, was there to lay a wreath on behalf of our Marlow Chamber members – and of the community at large. It was lovely to see so many turn out and take part.

And if you missed anything or would like to look back on the morning’s events, pictures of the parade and memorial service are coming soon, courtesy of MyMarlow and the BucksFree Press…
