Harleyford Golf Club was the venue for our debut clash of the Chamber Pot Foursomes, the Marlow Chamber's very own golf day.
Hampered somewhat by the recent lockdown and subsequent Covid-19 guidelines, meeting face to face has been a challenge for everyone. Golf, however, continues to offer a safe, outdoor and number limited activity that we are able to indulge in. So indulge some of our members decided they would.
And beating off an impressive front nine by the President's own four, made up of twosomes from Simplified Money and My Specialist GP - and some much closer competition over the back nine from NFU Mutual, a team from Marlow Sports Club and teams completed by players from xx and yyy, Angel & Rocket drove home flawlessly, to win the day.
And their prize? A fabulous painting of the Marlow Chamber 'Pot', courtesy of our multi-talented Treasurer, Rod Braybrooke.
