The Chamber is very active in Marlow and represents businesses of all sizes, in all industries and service sectors. Various Executive Committee members sit on various local authority panels to provide local business representation on community matters as diverse as crime prevention, parking, planning and licensing.

Marlow is a thriving business community and the Chamber is keen to both protect and enhance this status.

The Aims of The Chamber

The aims of Marlow Chamber of Commerce are to:

Benefits of Chamber Membership

The Chamber is your local association and represents your interests

  1. We hold 10 business meetings a year at local business venues which provide members the opportunity to present their businesses, gain updates on local and national business issues and hear guest speakers as well as networking.
  2. We offer members marketing and promotional opportunities to over 90 businesses through our website home page, direct mailing and postings on our Facebook and LinkedIn Pages.
  3. We offer a member to member discount / special offer scheme.
  4. We promote the tweets of members who are active in Twitter.
  5. We organise ‘Meet Marlow Businesses’ events to attract both locals and visitors to experience Marlow and what the town has to offer
  6. Members can use The Chamber logo on letter headings, business cards, premise / vehicle windows and website.
  7. We provide essential information to businesses at a local and national level.
  8. We campaign on behalf of members to exert influence on local government to create a more favourable business environment in Marlow.
  9. We form a local strategy with Marlow Town Council, Wycombe District Council and Buckinghamshire CC for the benefit of Marlow as a whole.
  10. We are a forum for members to have their say as to what goes on in the community.
  11. After submission of your application to the Chamber Secretary, your company becoming a member will be put to the existing members present at the following Business Meeting for approval: You are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting.
    • Following approval, your application form details will be input into the Chamber website to form your embryo entries in the member directory and your own member page. You will then be approached for more details for the website:
      • Your company logo (or equivalent).
      • A 40 word summary of what your business does.
      • The full content of your member page, e.g. more detailed description of what you do, testimonials, graphics and social networking URLs.

Impressed? Well it gets better because all these benefits are only £75.00 for a full year. Just complete the application form and make your payment either direct or by cheque.
