LETTER FROM BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

Highway Structures Management I have developed a works programme recently and it is planned to be on site from week commencing 29 July 2013 to avoid the school term. Advance notice (signs) , letter drops in the bridge area and press release will be in placed next week. The works is part of the bridge maintenance programme and will last for approximately 4 to 5 weeks. To execute the work safely and swiftly, Marlow suspension bridge required to be closed for vehicular traffic for the duration of the works. One side of the footway will be maintained for pedestrian traffic for the duration of the works. Traffic will be diverted via Marlow Bypass during the bridge closure. I would be grateful if you could contact me if there is any special activities I need to be aware or you have planned for this construction period to minimise the disruption.
