Business Link information on the postal strike To help you minimise disruption to your business Business Link have compiled information about the strike and how you can limit its effect on your business.  http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/detail?site=210&type=ONEOFFPAGE&itemId=1083519016  Bogus Notice of Under-reported Income In the September newsletter attention was drawn to e-mails bearing an authentic looking HM Revenue & Customs logo advising you that you are eligible to receive a tax refund and inviting you to ‘click here to submit your tax refund request’.  There is now a less official looking e-mail in circulation, also purporting to be from HM Revenue & Customs. This is personally addressed quoting a made up ID reference and headed ‘Issue: Unreported/Underreported Income (Fraud Application)’. There is an invitation to review your tax statement by clicking on a link. As with the previous bogus e-mail, you should under no circumstances open the link. HM Revenue & Customs would never approach such a matter in this way so if you should receive these e-mails they should be forwarded to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
