Rennie Grove Hospice Care
Rennie House, Unit 3
Icknield Way Industrial Estate
Rennie Grove Hospice Care was formed in 2011 after a merger between Ian Rennie Hospice at Home and Grove House in St Albans. The charity provides care and support for patients diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness and their families. Every year through our 24/7 Hospice at Home service, our Family Support services and the range of Day Services at Grove House we ?give thousands of patients the choice to ?stay at home.
How can companies get involved?
As a company you’ll be looking for a cause that means something to you and all the people you’re involved with on a regular basis. Hospice care affects 1 in 3 of the UK population and as a local hospice charity we’ve cared for over 20,000 local patients and their families.
It’s a sad fact that many of the people you work with will have been touched in some way by our service and with a steadily rising demand for hospice services Rennie Grove urgently needs to generate funding to pay for more specialist nursing staff and the resources they need to provide their excellent care.
Supporting a local charity is a great way for companies to increase their exposure and profile in the local community and to make new contacts through other corporate supporters.
Merry Wright is Rennie Grove’s corporate fundraiser for Buckinghamshire and is dedicated to working with companies, large or small, to help them support the charity and their local community, whist facilitating improvement on their CSR strategy and making sure they get the recognition they deserve in the community.
We hold regular networking events for corporate supporters as well as opportunities to sponsor our mass participation events and we are keen to help you with any fundraising ideas of your own you might have, which are great for boosting staff moral and team building. We can provide marketing support for your fundraising efforts, as well as publicity online and in the local press.
