OUR APPEAL
The Prince of Wales is a very comfortable and spacious pub with three distinct bar areas, yet it successfully manages to retain the atmosphere and ambience of a real 'local' - a quality fast disappearing in these days of themed, pub chains.
This welcoming appeal is due to the cross section of clientele that includes local sportsmen and women, businesses and people of all ages who frequent this pub on a regular basis: no doubt to take advantage of the company, the banter, badinage and 'bonhomie' it affords - alongside its range of fine food and ales, served by very pleasant, bar staff who all live locally - again adding to that ambience of a genuine 'local' pub.
The Prince of Wales has the unusual benefit, and luxury within Marlow, of being able to offer a large off street parking space for 22 vehicles in its own car park. Access to the pub from the car park is through the equally spacious yet relaxing, protected patio area that can handle up to 40 people, appeals to those taking the summer sun - and smokers alike!

The Prince of Wales supports Marlow's own micro-brewery, Rebellion and always provides one or two of Rebellion's popular, seasonal brews ..
.. In addition to which there is always a good selection of other fine ales, such as Brakspears, London Pride, Doombar and an ever changing list of guest ales.
We also boast an unrivalled range of premium lagers, featuring Stella, Kroneneburg, Fosters and Heineken which are all regularly on tap.
Add a wide selection of fine wines and spirits and you have something to suit everyone's predilection, palate and pocket!
The bar is open from 11am to 11pm every Monday through Thursday, 11am to 12am Friday and Saturday and 12am to 10.30pm on Sunday.
RESTAURANT AND CATERING
In the airy and light 25 seater restaurant there is a choice of Thai and English cuisine, ranging from a lite-bites snack menu, through special two course business lunches, to full a la carte dining all freshly prepared in our own kitchen.
The restaurant is open daily between 12am and 3pm in the afternoons, and again from 6pm to 10pm in the evenings.
We also operate a full take away service during these hours. See our Takeaway menu on this site.
On Sundays there is the additional choice of Sunday roast, again available between 12am and 3pm.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings but does re-open on Mondays.
Our catering Manageress is only too happy to discuss and accommodate any particular dietary requirements or to create special menus for special occasions and private parties that can be booked and held in the restaurant. |
