Wycombe District Local Food Directory
At the recent Rural Forum Farm Tour, Cllr Mrs Lesley Clarke mentioned a project to create a Local Food Directory, to which she had contributed some money from her county ward budget.
Volunteers from a number of local environmental groups are seeking to create a list of producers / processors / retailers / caterers within a 10-mile radius of High Wycombe who market / source local produce. (This area covers the whole of Wycombe District, plus extends to Chesham, Wendover, Watlington, Henley, Denham.)
Listing will be free, in the hope that this will contribute to it being as comprehensive and thus as useful as possible. Preliminary details of Local Food businesses have been collated from various sources, and at present volunteers are contacting these businesses to check details and descriptions.
