MINUTES OF BUSINESS MEETING HELD AT

CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL

MONDAY 15^TH MARCH 2010 – 6PM                  

 

There were  32 members present.

 

1.         Welcome by the Marlow Chamber President and Jacquelane Airne – Director of Sales for Crowne Plaza who gave details of forthcoming events being held at the hotel and also distributed discount vouchers for use in the   hotel restaurant.

 

2.         Minutes of last meeting – signed as a true record

 

3.         Presentation by Duncan Curtis – “Virtual tour of Marlow” - Duncan gave a visual presentation of the tour of Marlow and showed other areas who have joined the scheme and businesses who have signed up for “tours of their premises”.  For further information and details of costs etc. and to become involved please visit

4.         Rates Seminar – Presentation by Graham Birch of Bolton Birch – Rates specialist – Graham distributed Rates Seminar Notes (as attached).

 

5.         A.O.B.

            Jason Batten gave details of the forthcoming Rose Carnival with a request that if anybody wished to take part they should contact him on  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  This would be particularly good for those who were involved in the food and drink business.

 

The meeting closed at 7.15pm with thanks to Crowne Plaza for their hospitality .

Networking took place in the bar of the hotel.
