Description

Business Crime in Bucks

The Bucks Economic and Learning Partnership are proposing to hold a seminar to cover the issues that affect businesses when they become victims of criminal activity. The event, which will start at 4pm with tea and coffee and conclude at 7.30pm with wine and canapés, will be held at Missenden Abbey, Great Missenden on Thursday 2nd July. The Home Office and the Welsh Assembly will be among the guests, alongside Thames Valley Police and Community Safety support staff.

Our draft programme includes:

• Fraud

• Employee Safety

• Reporting of Crime - the REAL picture

• Retail Crime

• Acquisitive Crime – e.g. Vehicle/plant/goods theft

But … we want to hear from you! Perhaps you have had a positive experience, a good result from investigations, a better security system and a greater awareness of how good practice can benefit a business.

If you feel there are any issues that we should cover, please let us know and we will endeavour to include them.

If you would be interested in attending, please reserve a place or places by email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

You will be sent joining instructions and a detailed programme about a week before the event. We do hope you will be able to join us for this interactive and informative event.
