Small Business Saturday 2015
Posted on November 9th, 2015
This initiative has been running in North America for many years and was adopted in the UK 3 or 4 years ago. It has UK government backing and details can be found at https://www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com
The idea behind the Small Business Saturday is not restricted to offerings for consumers in the run-up to Christmas. It definitely extends to business to business offerings in the period when many businesses have budget that they can spend before year end or who are planning next year’s budgets during December. A time for year when new B2B customers may be hard to secure without a special offer.
Although activity is focussed this year on Saturday 5th December, this can be regarded purely as a trigger day when offers begin.
I urge all SME and micro-business members in Marlow & District to get involved by registering at https://www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/my-small-business and posting an offer.
Chamber Members only – If you have a Small Business Saturday Offer, please email details (text and images) to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be posted on www.marlowchamber.com/small-business-saturday-offers with a link to this page on the Chamber home page for the whole of December.
